Ateneo de Manila University formally introduced the dedication of Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu’s Raffy Celis and Michael Asoro to the Blue Eagles program.
The Katipunan-based squad made the announcement in Cebu on Monday together with representatives from the Magis Eagles.
The two gamers can be eligible to play in UAAP Season 86.
Celis, who averaged 17.3 factors and 10 rebounds within the NBTC National Finals, stated that other than the basketball program and being beneath head coach Tab Baldwin, he selected to play for Ateneo due to life classes he’ll finally be taught.
“We are happy and excited and we can’t wait to start our journey in college,” he stated.
Asoro echoed Celis and described Ateneo as college. “It’s a great opportunity for me na makalaro sa Ateneo,” he stated.

Baldwin stated he’s proud that Celis and Asoro will be a part of the Blue Eagles program and described the 2 as two-way gamers who’re additionally robust on the courtroom.
