A person has been arrested after an NBL basketballer was injured in an alleged one-punch assault on the NSW South Coast on the weekend.
Brisbane Bullets participant Harry Froling was hospitalised with a critical head harm after passers-by discovered him unconscious on the footpath of Crown St in Wollongong about 2:40am on Sunday.
Initial NSW Police inquiries recommend he was punched within the head and fell to the bottom.
The 24-year-old centre had performed in a basketball sport towards the Illawarra Hawks earlier than the incident.
Paramedics took him to Wollongong Hospital for therapy, nonetheless Mr Froling discharged himself and returned to Brisbane the place he attended Prince Charles Hospital.
