“Got touched up.”
“Poor game.”
“Must be under pressure to hold his spot.”
Those are a few of the savage criticisms of Fremantle gamers from Peter Sumich in his new position of ranking every Eagle and Docker in Monday’s The West Australian.
It included three gamers scoring only a 2/10 ranking.
Sumich criticised small ahead Michael Walters for “looking for an easy free kick.”
“Average game for his standards, just did not get into it. Had a go but at times still looking for an easy free kick. Nine disposals at 44 per cent efficiency and one tackle. If he is not kicking goals, he must put more pressure on. Only had 17 pressure acts – this should be around 30,” Sumich mentioned of Walters, who scored 2/10.

Coach Justin Longmuir was upset to witness the Dockers take a step again after breaking their season drought in opposition to West Coast final Sunday and highlighted the contested-possession differential as a significant space of concern.
Adelaide simply topped the contested possessions 151-137, whereas the post-clearance determine (116-93) was much more telling.
“It is disappointing because we took a step back and we wanted to go forward,” Longmuir mentioned.
“Our contest wasn’t where it needed to be, minus 28 I think it was post clearance.
“A lot of that we had first crack at it and don’t get it done then they win it and off they go. That’s where it starts.”
Despite the Eagles’ drubbing by the hands of Melbourne, Sumich had some constructive suggestions for in-form midfielder Tim Kelly.
“Outstanding game – West Coast’s best midfielder. Had 36 disposals, five tackles, five clearances, and 703m gained. Worked hard over four quarters and was alone in this area,” he mentioned of Kelly, who scored a decent 7/10.
