It has seen the warmth on Voss’ function amplify and regardless of the membership stating he’ll see out his contract the rumours haven’t stopped swirling.
With membership president Luke Sayers heading off on a European vacation, Sam McLure says he has some critical considering to do relating to the way forward for the present coach.

Ahead of their spherical 13 contest with Essendon the enjoying group went away to bond and are available collectively.
Despite studies the night time was nice, it was their response on the weekend that when once more had followers questioning their want.
“The response to that (getaway) was 14 players had one tackle or less,” Craig Hutchison mentioned. “The cohesion in that team is lost.
“It’s hard to imagine them putting the toothpaste back in the tube this year at least at the 15th ranked team.
“And the discussion now turns to whether he can survive. There’s two scenarios, one is he’s moved on. The second is they put different support around him.
“It is a long way away, the end of the season, for Michael, whether he can survive the storm or not. I subscribe to the theory it will be a challenge for him if they can’t turn it around.
“At the end of the year if things don’t turn they’ve got a tough decision to make one way or another. There’s not a sport in the world where he would survive a season like this other than the AFL.”
Discussion then turned to potential substitute Damien Hardwick who has been within the hearsay mill since he stepped away from teaching.
Hardwick walked away from Richmond final month, citing burnout and that he was in want of a break from the sport.
But hypothesis has mounted since he departed that if he had been to announce his want to teach once more, it might that pressure the hand of Carlton.
Kane Cornes wasn’t shopping for it and mentioned the membership, if it’s to make a training change, wants anyone who’s all in and up for the problem.
“I think the worst thing they can do is sack the coach now,” Cornes mentioned.
“Damien Hardwick said he needs a break, so the last person I’m going to be appointing is Damien Hardwick.
“Carlton needs someone who is all in and mentally and physically up for the challenge.
The Blues are being urged to become active buyers this off-season and get fresh young blood into the line-up.
They currently hold picks 4, 58, 67 and 76 in this year’s draft but the belief is they should offset their top pick into two first round selections and then look to acquire more picks by offloading future selections.
List expert Chris Pelchen told the Herald Sun the Blues list has more upside over the next five years compared to Geelong.
“Looking at the premier’s top end talent and comparing the two lists, Carlton have actually got the higher top end talent,” Pelchen mentioned.
“There will be a lot of alarmists out there, but this list is in sound condition and can go forward quickly.”
