SEN boss and media mogul Craig Hutchison is backing in Tom Morris and says the reporter is deserving of a second likelihood.

Reports emerged final week that SEN had reportedly approached him with a number of potential roles in play for the upcoming season.
The Herald Sun reported veteran broadcaster and former Brownlow medallist Gerard Healy, who now co-hosts Sportsday on SEN with Port Adelaide 300-gamer Kane Cornes, can be completely satisfied to work with Morris once more.

“As a leader of our business in the early days I was a bit too hard on people that made blues and I’m trying to be more empathetic of second chances as I get older because I was given so many.”

“I’m privy to the work that he’s done on himself over the last year, I’m not here to defend the behaviour at the time,” Hutchison mentioned.

Morris apologised for his feedback, which he described as “disgusting and disgraceful”.
“I would like to unconditionally apologise to everyone for my disgusting and disgraceful comments, which became public yesterday,” he posted on Twitter.
“I am especially sorry to the person involved. No one should ever in any place, or at any time, be spoken about in that way.
“I am deeply ashamed of my behaviour. My comments were hurtful to many and I will now take the time to listen, learn and work to improve myself, ensuring I become a better person. I am truly sorry to everyone.”
