West Coast might be with out reigning membership champion Tom Barrass for his or her monumental process of taking up Collingwood at Optus Stadium this afternoon.
It is reported that Barrass, who didn’t play in opposition to Hawthorn a fortnight in the past due to sickness, might be a late withdrawal from the sport due to a hip harm.
The lack of Barrass leaves the Eagles’ defence undersized, with fellow vice-captain Jeremy McGovern (hamstring) and 200cm defender Harry Edwards (groin) each injured.
It leaves Josh Rotham (193cm) and second-year defender Rhett Bazzo (195cm) to deal with in-form Magpie Mason Cox who has an excellent report at Optus Stadium.
Elijah Hewett comes into the beginning 22 for his first sport since spherical 4 loss to Melbourne and simply his fourth sport total.
Hewett, 19, is coming off 14 disposals within the WAFL, his first sport since injuring his ankle of their monster 169-point loss to West Perth in spherical two, when he was damage within the opening bounce.
Greg Clark would be the tactical sub for a 3rd consecutive week.
More to return.
