Melbourne midfielder James Harmes has been handed a one-match suspension for his excessive bump on Carlton’s Matthew Cottrell.
Cottrell had simply fumbled the ball and stored working ahead to gather it when Harmes got here in and bumped him from the other way.
AFL match evaluate officer Michael Christian graded the tough conduct cost as careless conduct, medium impression and excessive contact, drawing a one-match ban.
It means Harmes will miss the King’s Birthday conflict with Collingwood until he can efficiently overturn the suspension.
Collingwood star Jordan De Goey can also be set to overlook the match after unleashing a devastating excessive bump on younger Eagle Elijah Hewett in Perth on Saturday.
De Goey is anticipated to be suspended for a number of weeks for the late bump that concussed Hewett.
