Western Bulldogs ahead Cody Weightman will miss the early a part of the AFL season after being lower down by a groin criticism.
Weightman missed the pre-season conflict with the Kangaroos attributable to groin soreness and the Bulldogs need to take a cautious method with the 22-year-old, who booted 36 targets final season.
No timeline has been set for his return, however he’ll positively miss Saturday’s conflict with Melbourne on the MCG.

Defender Ryan Gardner is recovering well from elbow surgery and is on track to return within the next month.
“Gardner had a fall throughout a soccer session and cracked a bone in his elbow,” Bell stated.
“We determined that surgical administration would speed up his restoration. This surgical procedure was efficiently accomplished a few weeks in the past.
“He will remain in a brace for another week and we expect to see Ryan back playing footy in the next 3-4 weeks.”
Laith Vandermeer (cracked fibula) is slated to return in spherical 5 or 6, whereas former Hawk Tim O’Brien (hamstring) and Roarke Smith (foot) are anticipated to be out there a month into the season.
