“I went out on the gas on the Saturday night with Ben Stokes, Paul Collingwood and the big left hand opener, Graeme Smith, from South Africa,” Thomas informed Triple M.
“We had a vodka. Four days before the Ashes and Ben walks us into a nightclub — he, I and a couple of others in the back booth and he’s dancing around with bottles of vodka and having a good time.”
It comes because the English languish 2-0 down within the collection, and head to Headingley in tense scenes which have pressured organisers to take further motion to guard the Australians after controversy within the first two Tests.
Aussie TV commentators Mark Taylor and Mel Jones can have safety employees with them when the Third Test begins on Thursday night time (AEST), and the Aussie workforce has known as in further safety for the touring social gathering’s households.
The Australian’s Peter Lalor reported the workforce had requested the additional measures after the abusive followers at Lord’s left one employees member’s 11-year-old son in tears, whereas Steve Smith’s mom was pressured to go away the bottom early.
While they didn’t know she was Smith’s mom, the taunting followers turned on her after they realised she was Australian.
The 11-year-old was equally taunted by followers at Lord’s and was seen later surrounded by members of the workforce on the balcony.
