All 18 clubs release STUNNING Indigenous Round jumpers

Ahead of Sir Doug Nicholls Round, which runs over the following two weeks, all 18 AFL golf equipment have launched particular Indigenous jumpers.

Walyalup (Fremantle)

Dockers captain Alex Pearce had a hand in designing the membership’s jumper, with pal and artist Carly Grey, who has beforehand painted his boots.

The jumper tells the story of the skipper’s journey from Palawa nation in Tasmania to Noongar nation right here in WA.

“Wearing a jumper that represents me and tells some of my story, it’s going to be really special, and it’s going to certainly be a game that I’ll remember,” Pearce mentioned.

West Coast

A united ardour for the membership impressed AFLW star and Kija and Jaru girl Krstel Petrevski’s design for West Coast’s 2023 First Nations Guernsey.

The guernsey’s hanging characteristic is a proud Eagle, a Waalitj, with its wing-spread below the sternum with the circles above which signify a logo all of the gamers and officers who’ve made a contribution to the West Coast Eagles.

There is one other circle beneath it to signify the membership’s AFLW program, whereas the feather circle represents the previous and previous workers which have been a part of the membership.

“My people, my land is everything to me – to be able to celebrate and acknowledge and pay respects to my lands and my peoples, I wanted to do the exact same thing at the West Coast Eagles,” Petrevski mentioned.
