‘Yes voters, they’re all over the shop’: New polling shows Voice support in freefall

Support for the Indigenous Voice to Parliament has dropped below 40 per cent in each state besides Victoria in accordance with the most recent polling from RedBridge.

The ballot reveals solely 39 per cent of voters in Australia say they may vote ‘Yes’ whereas 61 per cent intend to vote ‘No’.

Sky News host James Macpherson says Indigenous Voice to Parliament ‘Yes’ voters are “all over the shop” as to why they’re voting for the referendum.

“When they were asked why they’re voting ‘Yes’, the top answer was 16 per cent of people (are) saying because the idea came from Indigenous people, they want to support it,” Mr Macpherson stated.

“Almost one in three people intending to vote ‘Yes’ listed a reason other than the top eight provided by the ‘Yes’ campaign which says to me that while ‘No’ voters are pretty clear it’s going to divide the nation … Yes voters, they’re all over the shop.”
