She was killed after two automobiles collided yesterday afternoon on the intersection of Parkes Drive and Ducat Street, Tweed Heads.
At 2.30pm yesterday emergency providers responded to studies of the incident.
The girl – aged 50 – who was driving one of many automobiles was discovered useless on the scene.
The 18-year-old male driver of the opposite car was unhurt.
He was taken to The Tweed Hospital for obligatory testing.
Police have launched an investigation into crash and can put together a report for the coroner.
