Queensland Police stated the 41-year-old driver of the MG from Tiana died on the scene.
A seven-year-old woman who was a passenger within the MG had minor accidents and was taken to Gympie Hospital.
“The driver of the Ranger, a 76-year-old Valdora man, was taken to Gympie Hospital with minor injuries,” Queensland Police stated in an announcement.
“A single passenger, a 72-year-old Valdora woman, was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious condition with chest injuries.”
