Western culture breaking away from traditional values leads to ‘form of tribalism’

Patriotism and having shared values appear to have “declined considerably” in Western tradition, says Menzies Research Centre’s Nick Cater.

“We have rather alarming empirical evidence to say that’s true in the … United States,” Mr Cater advised Sky News host Peta Credlin.

“We’re returning to a form of tribalism.”
