NSW SES Chief Superintendent Dallas Burnes says WaterNSW is releasing a big quantity of water out of the Menindee Lake system, inflicting river ranges to rise on the Menindee township.
“It’s the water that is the outcome of the flooding on the Darling and Namoi systems from several months ago … and that’s lead to the situation where WaterNSW is now releasing significant water out of Menindee Lake system,” Mr Burnes informed Sky News Australia.
