Universities Australia Chief Executive Catriona Jackson emphasises the important function of upper training in addressing the workforce challenges offered by the AUKUS alliance.
“AUKUS is quite a big challenge for Australia – it’s a huge deal,” Ms Jackson advised Sky News Australia.
To help the initiative, Australia should supply 20,000 expert employees, most of whom would require a college diploma.
Jackson and her staff are at present in Washington to debate methods with colleagues, aiming to “produce those skilled graduates so we can make AUKUS an absolute winner.”
