The two-day-old litter was discovered inside a patch of lengthy, moist grass on the nook of Lord Street and Guildford Road in Bassendean at 6pm on Tuesday.
Eight have been rescued on the time, whereas one was sadly discovered lifeless.
The remaining 4, believed to be American Staffy crosses, are doing nicely.
The litter’s mom has not been discovered, prompting pressing calls from the RSPCA for assist.
“We currently hold concern for mum, who would have suffered physically and emotionally when the puppies were taken away from her so suddenly.”
The animal rescue organisation mentioned there have been no CCTV safety cameras across the space the litter was dumped.
