The software for political asylum in Timor-Leste of suspended Negros Oriental Representative Arnolfo “Arnie” Teves has been denied, Department of Foreign Affairs stated on Tuesday.
The DFA stated it has obtained info from the Philippine Embassy in Timor-Leste that Teves is at present in Dili the place he submitted an software for political asylum.
“Today, the Ministry of Interior of Timor-Leste confirmed that Representative Teves’ application for political asylum has been denied,” the DFA stated.
