‘They’ve done absolutely nothing’: Paterson criticises Labor over Chines spy concerns

Shadow Home Affairs Minister James Paterson has referred to as for the Labor authorities to do extra after considerations rise over the potential for China to disrupt Australia’s photo voltaic vitality provide.

“This is a problem because the Labor party has a target of 82 per cent renewables by 2030 … yet right now, despite being aware of this risk, Anthony Albanese and Chris Bowen have talked about it and they’ve done absolutely nothing at all,” he informed Sky News Australia.

“We’re going to find ourselves in a situation where our grid is absolutely riddled with these inverters with known cyber security vulnerabilities.”
