Protesters gathered in London’s Parliament Square on Monday night, March 13, to induce lawmakers to not vote for the proposed Illegal Migration Bill. The invoice, which was championed by Home Secretary Suella Braverman of the Conservative Party, would enable the UK authorities to deport “persons who have entered or arrived in breach of immigration control.” The invoice has obtained widespread criticism, together with from Tory MPs. Hours earlier than the voted, Tory MP and former UK vitality minister Chris Skidmore tweeted that he wouldn’t be voting for the invoice. “I am not prepared to break international law or the human rights conventions that the UK has had a proud history of playing a leading role in establishing,” Skidmore wrote. Footage filmed by Fire Brigades Union exhibits General Secretary Matt Wrack chatting with a crowd in Parliament Square because the invoice was being learn within the House of Commons. “This invoice is not going to add a penny to anybody’s wages.
