In a Facebook publish on Thursday, GMA Public Affairs shared the great news.
“Mga Kapuso, ikinagagalak po naming ibalita na muling nakilala sa labas ng bansa Ang ‘The Atom Araullo Specials: Mata sa Dilim’!” it wrote within the caption.
“Maraming salamat po sa inyong suporta!” it added.
Executive Producer Ian Simbulan acquired the award on behalf of his different program staff members: Atom Araullo, Izza Bermudez, Angelie Rose Dela Rosa, Nissreen Marie Dionido Caparas, Chell Equiron, Patrick Vindel Dayao Cruz, Tina Aure, Mariza Barral, Andrea Lynne Reposo, Aaron Papins Mendoza, VM Rodriguez, Emil Valerio Palon, Mark Ledesma, Karl Anthony Camila, Jaymee Manahan-Bulaong, Rochelle Senaida, Vianca Vega Marasigan, Elisha Manas, and Gale Cañoneo Paris.
In April, the documentary additionally bagged the gold world medal on the New York Festivals.
