A Queensland teenager has been charged over an alleged unlawful road race, which result in a pedestrian being significantly injured.

Connor James Henderson, 19, is accused of dangerously driving a blue Ford Falcon on Newhill Drive at an unlawful hooning meet in Swanbank on May 6.

The driver allegedly hit a 17-year-old boy in the course of the incident.

The boy was significantly injured however secure and was taken to hospital for therapy.

Police discovered the Falcon at a house in Chambers Flat on May 26.

The automobile had been partially dismantled, police mentioned.

The alleged driver was arrested on May 31.

Henderson was charged with dangerously working a car inflicting bodily hurt, damaging proof with intent, taking part in group actions for racing, burn out or different hooning offences and failing to stay on the incident.
