Meanwhile, one other man has died after being pulled from a lake on the Victoria-NSW border this afternoon.

The man went into the water to chase his canine at Kookaburra Point in Ebden, close to Albury-Wodonga, simply earlier than 3pm.

Victoria Police stated onlookers noticed him start to wrestle and pulled him to shore.

They carried out CPR earlier than ambulance paramedics arrived.

The man, believed to be in his 30s, was taken to hospital the place he later died.

Police officers who attended the scene stated the person could have suffered from a medical episode whereas he was within the water.
