Siege  in Brisbane suburb

Police have locked down streets in Brisbane’s south whereas a siege is happening.

An emergency declaration was made below the Public Safety Preservation act at 1:13pm on Friday after officers attended an tackle in Bradman Street in Sunnybank Hills in relation to a welfare examine.

“A man and woman are inside the house and police negotiators are on scene,” Queensland Police stated in a press release.

“People located within the PSPA zone, residents or businesses, must stay inside their buildings until further advised.”

Roads are closed on Bradman Street between Bellrick and Peterkin Streets to all pedestrian and car visitors and several other homes on Morden Street are effected within the space.
