The footage, captured on the South Eastern Freeway yesterday, reveals the automobile practically lacking a number of others because it hurtled onto the fallacious aspect of the highway.
Police are investigating whether or not the motive force suffered a medical episode.
The footage, first posted to Dashcams Adelaide Facebook group, reveals the Tesla slam right into a barricade on the aspect of the highway.
It then rebounds off the barricade and careens in direction of Molly Lou and her household, narrowly avoiding a head-on crash.
“I would say if we were a quarter of a second faster or didn’t brake then we probably would have taken out the Tesla driver,” Lou advised 9News.
“It was so loud, so shocking, it was like a big, full-on smash.
“You simply do not realise how scary the highway is and the way horrifying and the way one thing can simply change within the blink of an eye fixed.”
There are no reports of any major injuries.
