Former Speaker of the House Bronwyn Bishop says activist Marcia Langton has made a case for why quite a lot of the cash spent on Indigenous Australians has “actually worked”.
Ms Bishop’s feedback comply with Ms Langton’s National Press Club convention on Wednesday.
“She is not disadvantaged – she’s prospered very well,” Ms Bishop instructed Sky News host Paul Murray.
“As have so many of the activists who are the, shall we say the Praetorian Guard of this whole thing, that they want the Voice so they can say we are now sovereign, give us a treaty and reparations.”
