Queensland Ambulance confirmed authorities are at Caboolture Airfield after a ”significant incident” simply after 10.30am on Friday.
Queensland Police confirmed to 9news.com.au that two plane collided mid-air on the airfield this morning.
Images from the scene present the wreckage of a light-weight plane on the airfield.
Emergency providers will maintain a press convention on the incident shortly.
