Senator David Van has resigned from the Liberal Party amid allegations of harassment and undesirable sexual advances.
The Senator was dumped from the Liberal celebration room on Thursday and confronted strain to be expelled.
Mr Van has denied the claims and accused the Liberal Party of disregarding “due process and natural justice” in relation to the allegations.
“I cannot remain a member of a party that tramples upon the very premise on which our justice system is predicated,” he mentioned in a letter to celebration officers.
