Senate committee heads to Western Sydney to hear cost-of-living concerns

Independent MP Dai Le says she is “very grateful” the Senate committee wanting into the price of residing pressures is holding a listening to in Western Sydney on Friday to really “get onto the ground” outdoors of Canberra.

“So far this morning I’ve heard from … the local Chamber of Commerce … talking about the increased costs of living in terms of electricity prices rises, gas prices, in terms of housing affordability,” Ms Le advised Sky News Australia.

“And obviously the impact of … petrol prices and, of course the push for electric vehicles in an area where a majority of us drive petrol-fuelled cars.”
