South Korea’s army on Tuesday (December 27) apologized for its failure to shoot down North Korean drones which crossed into the South’s airspace a day earlier, pledging to safe anti-drone strike capabilities. Kang Shin-chul, a senior official on the Joint Chiefs of Staff stated the drones, every measuring about 3 meters, have been too small to simply intercept.
