Amid rumors of a supposed plot to oust him, Speaker Martin Romualdez on Sunday stated the House of Representatives ought to give attention to extra pressing issues and finish political destabilization efforts.

Arroyo, who was demoted to deputy speaker, stated the transfer was “the prerogative of the House.” She additionally denied rumors that she was plotting to oust Romualdez.
