‘Ratatouille pride’: Sydney bins overflow as Mardi Gras approaches

Sydney Lord Mayor Clover Moore has been slammed for focussing on Mardi Gras preparations as an alternative of “picking up the trash” as Sydney residents threaten to cease paying charges after the bin assortment strike final week, says Sky News host James Morrow.

“It’s like a Ratatouille pride here too because … the bins are overflowing,” Mr Morrow stated.

“The whole time that Clover Moore and the Sydney council here are doing all their stuff celebrating pride and changing all the street signs and painting rainbow intersections.

“You know what they’re not doing – they’re not picking up the trash, which is the basic mission of a council.

“This is the Mount Olympus of virtue signalling for Clover Moore.”
