Poverty rates for JobSeeker families ‘astronomical’

ANU Associate Professor Ben Phillips says the poverty charges for households on the JobSeeker monetary help cost are “astronomical”.

“It’s more like 80 per cent, 90 per cent; they are almost entirely in poverty,” he informed Sky News Australia.

“Not just that they are in poverty, but the depth of poverty is so severe.”
