Poor Visibility as Blizzard Conditions Sweep Central Iowa

A winter storm swept via central and northern Iowa on Thursday, December 22, as excessive winds and blowing snow created blizzard circumstances. Footage exhibiting blowing snow was captured by Kevin Cavallin who mentioned he was close to Ada Hayden Park, simply north of Ames. The National Department of Transportation warned vacationers of icy roads.
