Police locate missing NSW bushwalkers ‘in good health’

Police have situated two bushwalkers who went lacking in New South Wales’ Blue Mountains final week.

The duo had been believed to have been situated at about 1am close to Mobbs Swamp.

Police say each males are reported to be in good well being and are being escorted out of bushland by authorities.

Alfred Zawadzki, 69, and Klaus Umland, 81, went for a bushwalk from a campground in Megalong Valley last Wednesday and intended to return on Friday.

They are anticipated to return to Dunphy’s campground about 6.45am.

Neither have suffered accidents, however will each be assessed by paramedics.
