A lightweight plane has crashed into bushes within the Mount Buffalo space in north-east Victoria.
The airplane took off from Porepunkah close to Wangaratta earlier than the accident occurred.
The pilot was believed to be the one individual onboard the plane.
He was rescued and handled on the scene earlier than being airlifted to the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne.
