Patients have shared their troubling tales of lengthy wait instances earlier than receiving therapy at Western Sydney hospitals after a whistleblower informed 9News of the overcrowding workers had been going through.

“I went in by ambulance… there I was for 30 hours,” Ledgerwood mentioned.

Another affected person, who wished to stay nameless, informed 9News she was given a drip and moved again to the ready room for 12 hours at Westmead Hospital.

“I had trouble finding a seat and I was just really conscious of where I was sitting because I had an IV drip in my arm,” the affected person mentioned.

Premier Chris Minns has blamed the earlier authorities for the shortage of house for sufferers after making an election promise of 600 extra beds throughout Sydney’s west.
