The three-time Olympian, from Mount White in NSW, fell from her horse throughout a showjumping competitors in the primary area in April.
“I picked up a canter and then the horse stopped and no one knew why and it’s because I started to pass out,” the 70-year-old stated.
“Only the good die young I’m going to be around for a while.”
Obstetrician and vet Mark Schembri and orthopedic surgeon Stephen Ruff had been each within the crowd and got here to Roycroft’s rescue.
“As we were going over we were under the impression she had a spinal injury but when we got there it was clear she was dead,” Ruff stated.
Schembri stated there was no pulse and no response from Roycroft in order that they started a number of cycles of CPR earlier than paramedics arrived.

“I missed it so much, it’s what I do,” Roycroft stated.
“If this episode had happened here on my property it would have been goodnight Irene.”
She plans to be again showjumping on the Royal Easter Show subsequent 12 months.
