Sky News Darwin Bureau Chief Matt Cunningham says the Northern Territory authorities has dropped a proposal to ban academics from calling college students girls and boys.
Mr Cunningham mentioned the federal government has launched new draft pointers which have “taken out” the controversial ban.
“It’s also taken out another quite controversial proposal in the original document which was that schools could help students as young as 14 transition their gender without their parents support,” he added.
