Police stated an unidentified object washed up on a seashore close to Green Head, north of Perth, on Saturday afternoon.
Officers are working to determine what the item is and the place it got here from however are sure it is not from downed flight MH370.
Police earlier labelled the item as “hazardous” as they labored with state and federal businesses to determine if there was a threat to the group.
But after evaluation of the item by the Department of Fire and Emergency Service’s chemistry centre it was decided secure.
Nearby resident Natasha Thompson stated it was a novel discovery.
“It’s just unusual that it would wash up here,” she stated.
“It looked beautiful out in the water when it was floating on Saturday night.”
