Multiple people rescued from ocean in Sydney

Three swimmers have been rescued from the ocean on Sydney’s northern seashores after being swept out in a rip.

About 4.50pm police have been advised as many as 4 swimmers have been in hassle at North Curl Curl, north of Manly.

But police now consider the 2 swimmers rescued by boat and a 3rd winched to security by the Life Saver helicopter about 5.15pm have been the one individuals needing rescue.

After chatting with relations, police consider everyone has been accounted for.

One of these rescued wanted CPR and have been rushed to North Shore Hospital.

“Police have now spoken with family members on North Curl Curl Beach and believe with the rescue of these three people, everyone has been accounted for,” NSW Police stated.

Surf Life Saving Club members, two PolAir helicopters, water police and officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command have been all concerned.

A NSW Ambulance helicopter additionally landed in a close-by reserve and a medical crew rushed to the seashore.
