Melbourne tobacconist destroyed in suspected arson attack

Forensic fireplace crews are probing a destroyed tobacconist store following a suspected arson assault in Melbourne this morning.

Hogans Corner Tobacconist on Hogans Road in Hoppers Crossing went up in flames simply after 4am.

Firefighters discovered the store “fully alight” once they arrived inside 5 minutes of being referred to as, based on Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV).

It took till 5.31am for them to carry the blaze underneath management, with 10 fireplace vehicles attending the scene.

Arson chemists are but to establish the reason for the blaze however police and Fire Rescue Victoria have confirmed they consider it is suspicious. 

The fireplace brought about vital harm to the store in addition to neighbouring companies, leaving them with out fuel and forcing them to shut for the day.

It took firefighters greater than an hour to carry the hearth underneath management. (Nine)

Locals have been left “stunned” by the incident.

”I’ve been coming here 22 years or so they’re nice people, I actually shop in there,” one instructed 9News.
