President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Saturday jested that he was the “self-appointed official BFF (best friends forever)” of Vice President Sara Duterte, including that “I am still your number one fan.”
Marcos made the comment after he was launched by Duterte to present his speech through the grand launching of Pier 88 in Liloan, Cebu province.
“Thank you very much to our good Vice President for her very kind introduction. Parang nabalik ako doon sa kampanya, nandoon kaming dalawa ni Inday Sara nagbubungisngisan ulit (It’s like I’m back in the campaign period, Inday Sara and I are there laughing again),” Marcos stated.
“And the reason I made her laugh is that I told her, dito sa mga gulong nangyayari, I have just officially designated myself as your self-appointed official BFF. So kahit… Sorry na lang. Sa ayaw mo at sa gusto mo, I’m still your number one fan,” he added.
(And the rationale I made her snicker is that I instructed her, right here with the issues happening, I’ve simply formally designated myself as your self-appointed official BFF. So even… I’m sorry. Whether you prefer it or not, I’m nonetheless your primary fan.)
