Marcos says he and British PM Sunak talked of ‘proper trip to UK’

LABUAN BAJO —President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. mentioned he and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak talked about him occurring a “proper trip to the UK.”

Marcos made the comment after he was requested if he met Sunak in London, the place he attended the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla over the weekend.

He mentioned Sunak wished to debate a proposal for an airport from a conglomerate.

“Sabi niya, sana matuloy natin, let’s talk about it, ‘yung ganyan-ganyan. And we won’t be able to do it now because we had maybe seven minutes, six minutes,” Marcos mentioned of his interplay with the British chief.

“We can’t do it now but we’ll do a proper trip for you to come to the UK and we’ll talk about it soon. That’s where we ended,” he added. —NB, GMA Integrated News
