Marcos order grants one-time rice support for COS, JO employees

Government staff rendering companies via job orders, contracts of service (COS), or different comparable work preparations are eligible to obtain the one-time rice help licensed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. via Administrative Order No. 2.

According to the Office of the Press Secretary, Marcos’ order licensed the discharge of help to people and teams of individuals engaged via JO, COS, or different comparable work setups outlined underneath the Commission on Audit-Department of Budget and Management Joint Circular (JC) No. 2 dated October 20, 2020, as amended.

Civilian personnel in nationwide authorities businesses (NGAs), together with these in state universities and schools (SUCs), government-owned and managed firms (GOCCs), authorities monetary establishments (GFIs), authorities instrumentalities with company powers, and authorities company entities occupying common, contractual or informal positions may be granted help.

Military, police, fireplace, and jail personnel may be given assist together with the Bureau of Corrections, Philippine Coast Guard, and National Mapping and Resource Information Authority staff.

To obtain the rice help, the beneficiaries have to be in authorities service or have to be engaged with authorities businesses as of November 30, 2022. —NB, GMA Integrated News
