Marcos on Sara quitting Lakas: She has too much work to do

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. mentioned he understood Vice President Sara Duterte’s choice to resign from the Lakas-CMD.

Marcos made the comment hours after Sara launched an announcement asserting her resignation from the celebration which she served as chairperson.

Asked for touch upon Sara’s resignation from the celebration, Marcos mentioned, “Very simple. Exactly as she says.”

“Inday Sara is very plainspoken… kung ano ‘yung sinabi, ‘yun ang ibig sabihin niya. She has too much work to do, she cannot be involved in all of this,” Marcos mentioned.

“She cannot allow herself to be distracted. That’s the way I read it,” he added.

Marcos indicated that Sara had an excessive amount of on her plate as training secretary and only in the near past as co-vice chair of the National Task Force to End the Local Communist Armed Conflict.

“I can understand why sasabihin niya ayusin niyo muna ‘yan. Gagawin ko muna ‘yung mga kailangan kong tapusin,” Marcos mentioned.

Sara introduced her resignation two days after her celebration mate Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo was changed by the House of Representatives as senior deputy speaker.

Arroyo on Thursday referred to experiences that she was concerned in a plot to oust Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez, the president of Lakas-CMD.

The former President and former Speaker mentioned she had no plans to develop into Speaker anew.

On Friday morning, Sara introduced that she was resigning irrevocably from the celebration with which she ran for vp in 2022. —NB, GMA Integrated News
