Marcos: No report of destab plot among active police

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Friday stated there was no report that lively police officers had been planning to oust him from energy.

In an ambush interview in General Santos City, Marcos was requested to remark concerning the declare of former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV that retired and lively high-ranking officers of the Philippine National Police (PNP) had been plotting to take away him from workplace.

“Ang ano ko naman, kahit hindi mo ako binoto, okay lang sa akin basta’t maging professional ka, gawin mo ‘yung trabaho mo nang tama. Iyon lang naman ang hinihiling ko sa lahat ng police, sa lahat ng Armed Forces,” Marcos added.

(For me, even when I did not get your vote, it is okay so long as you perform your work correctly and professionally. That’s all I ask from the police and the Armed Forces.)

Last Tuesday, Trillanes stated that retired and lively high-ranking PNP officers had been recruiting members in an ouster plot in opposition to Marcos. They have been supposedly making an attempt to recruit members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

Asked who was behind the ouster plot, Trillanes stated it was the “Duterte camp.”

Sought for remark, Duterte’s former presidential spokesperson, Atty. Harry Roque, stated that the remarks had been “hallucinations and hangover from his coup d’etat days.”

For her half, PNP spokesperson Police Colonel Jean Fajardo had stated that there aren’t any lively police officers concerned within the plot.
