Marcos appoints ex-Antique mayor as SBMA chief

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has administered the oath of workplace to a few officers heading to totally different authorities companies, the Presidential Communications Office mentioned Wednesday.

At a ceremony in Malacañang, Marcos swore in former Pandan, Antique mayor Jonathan Tan as the brand new chairperson and administrator of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA).

Tan changed former SBMA chief Rolen Paulino, who resigned on April 15, 2023 with out finishing his six-year time period.

Paulino defined that he stepped down from his publish “to give the President a free hand to choose who he deems best to steer the SBMA to greater heights in terms of management and new business opportunities.”
