A manhunt is underway after a lady was held at gunpoint by a masked robber, who stole $140,000 in money from a Melbourne gaming venue.

The 51-year-old resort employee was opening the Players Hotel in Dandenong at 6am when she was cornered by a person sporting a balaclava and gloves.

He then is claimed to have compelled her contained in the resort, the place he allegedly stole the money – a few of it from a pokies machine.

The man then fled the venue within the lady’s Holden Barina.

Tonight, the alleged offender and the lady’s automobile stay at giant, as police proceed to try to observe them down.

While the lady was not bodily injured, she was described as “traumatised” to 9News.

In a separate incident in Melbourne this morning, a lady was allegedly sexually assaulted at Southern Cross station round 8am.

The lady then claimed to see the person who assaulted her within the hours following the assault and allegedly bodily assaulted him.

Police say they had been unknown to one another.
