A father strolling his daughter house from college saved an 11-year-old woman who was virtually kidnapped by a stranger.
“It’s really hard to even imagine what could have happened,” Ryan Ghambari stated of the terrifying ordeal in Melbourne’s east final month.
The woman was strolling house from college alongside Landscape Drive in Doncaster East when she was approached by an unknown man in a gray Audi Q3 SUV about 2.40pm on Thursday, March 28.
The man “forcefully” requested the woman to get in his automobile.
Terrified, the woman ran and hid in a bush, however police her ordeal wasn’t over. The man did a U-turn after which waited a short while for the woman.
That’s when she begged Ghambari for assist.
“When she approached me she was really shaking, she couldn’t talk, she couldn’t even breath,” he stated.
Ghambari comforted the woman and reunited her together with her household, her dad already driving round on the time in search of her.
“He said ‘thank you, thank god you were here’,” Ghambari stated.
Police are investigating and have appealed for any witnesses to return ahead.
“[The girl] was terrified, she felt like she was going to be taken by this male,” Detective Senior Constable Brooke Miller stated.
“A little girl should feel safe to walk home from school and what he’s actually done is horrible.”
Detectives imagine the Audi drove south on Taurus Road.
Police launched a computer-generated picture of a person they imagine might be able to assist with their inquiries.
He is described as being Middle Eastern in look with tan pores and skin, black hair, a black beard, and a moustache.
He was sporting sun shades with brown lenses and a gray T-shirt.
